Installation Technicians

ACTIVITIES
The installation technician will follow the installation of the machine with the customer as well as any internal support in the workshop for the assembly of the same. The ideal candidate is specialized in the industrial field and autonomous in the management of assembly activities and commissioning of CNC machining centers/lathes/milling machines. Mastery of the main installation and mechanical maintenance techniques and willingness to travel to Italy/EU/non-EU is required. The candidate, reporting to the installation manager, will follow the following activities:
- Mechanical installation interventions
- CNC machine alarm diagnosis
- Geometric check and restoration of machine geometry
- Management of hydraulic problems (valves, control units)
- Supply and replacement of spare parts
- Knowledge (not programming) of Fanuc and Siemens CNC machines
- Check electrical components (motors, cables, drives)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly technical background with previous direct experience in electromechanical maintenance/installation of CNC machining centers/lathes/milling machines
- Diploma in mechanical field
- Knowledge of the English language
- Availability to travel in Italy, EU and Asia/USA

Electronic service technician

ACTIVITIES
The electronic service technician will follow the maintenance of the machines designed and sold by the company. He will follow them on site to solve unproductive machine stops or other technical problems of an electronic and/or mechatronic nature. You will carry out scheduled preventive maintenance activities to ensure daily production operations. It will work on numerical control software and electrical components and will manage the more complex retrofitting activities aimed at improving electrical, electronic and technological aspects by replacing CNC components or a new CNC, motor drives, PLC and other software parts. It will guarantee, if necessary and in synergy with the office in charge, detailed and competent on using our machine tools and installed automations.
Tasks

Mechanical service technician

ACTIVITIES
The mechanical service technician will follow the maintenance of the machines designed and sold by the company. You will follow them on site or in order to solve unproductive machine stops or other technical problems of a mechanical and/or mechatronic nature. Being able to view the machine data with remote maintenance, he will intervene quickly, identifying and solving the problem and drawing up the relative technical documentation. You will carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure daily production operation activities. It will guarantee, if necessary and in synergy with the office in charge, detailed and competent training on using machine tools and installed automations.

- Calibration of optical scales and sensors

Mechanical engineer
COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

The company has grown over the years thanks to the acknowledgement gained on worldwide markets, with a large portfolio of international companies primarily active in the Aerospace, Automotive, Industrial, Energy, Oil &Gas and Defense.
ACTIVITIES
Working in the mechanical engineering department, he will take care of development of our machines.
Directly reporting to the applicable department manager, with strong connection with automation and fluidic engineering department, he will start analysing project characteristics and specification, developing suitable solution starting for company know-how or developing a completely new project starting from a blank sheet and arriving to the complete BOM. He will be leading the development of the machine or group.
He will also support all other company’s department for technical aspect related to specific project or competence area.
He will located in our headquarter in Vigolzone (near to Piacenza), but he will be available for occasional business travel.
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduated (master level) in mechanical engineering, he will preferably have about 2-3 years of experience in similar function. High school bachelor degree in similar field can also be evaluated, with 6-7 years of working experience.
Good knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering, new machines or groups development, 3D CAD usage are required, as well as basic knowledge of fluidic engineering. Good knowledge of fluidic engineering and a basic knowledge of automation and control logic are a plus. Good ability in making mechanical calculation and FEM simulation can be a valuable distinguishing factor.
Previous experience in mechanical department in machine tool or automation engineering sector is required.
English is a must, as well the availability to travel to follow up machine installation. Ability to work in teams, to work hard, to innovate are characteristics that completes our searched profile.
Sales Engineer

The candidate, as part of the Offer Engineering team, will be responsible for developing technical and economic analyses for product customisations and the implementation of complex systems, as well as preparing the technical documentation required for commercial offers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Manage projects throughout all phases of the assignment.
- Actively participate in designing improvements to be proposed during the offer phase.
- Define the level of detail of the improvements according to client requirements.
- Collaborate with the Customer and any stakeholders involved in the project.
- Verify the completeness and adequacy of all deliverables before submission.
- Availability to travel in Italy and EU
Skills and Qualifications
- Technical degree (Mechanical Engineering) or diploma in Mechanical Technology.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of foreign languages (English, German, French).
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills for managing client relationships.
Previous experience in the machine tools or industrial machinery sector will be considered a plus.
